This is an accounting of my attempts at model railroads N scale and HO or OO. I find it to be a lot of fun. I concentrate my efforts on The New York Central, Ann Arbor, Pere Marquette, Chesapeake and Ohio as it relates to the Pere Marquette, Michigan Central Railroads and my own Salt Creek Railroad. I am also interested in the Tuscola and Saginaw Bay Railway, the Great Lakes Central Railroad, CSX, Norfolk Southern, Union Pacific, and BNSF. You are welcome to give me advice.

The Union Pacific Loop has been completed
The track for the Union Pacific loop is complete, I only need Union Pacific rolling stock to complete the effort. Once I have purchased enough rolling stock the grandkids layout will be complete. That will give us 4 loops 2 east coast and 2 west coast railroads. The east coast lines are the Norfolk Southern, and CSX, while the west coast lines are the BNSF, and the Union Pacific.

The Union Pacific Loop is Back On
Work on the Union Pacific loop of the grandkids layout has begun again. I was able to pick up on a caboose and a boxcar along with 1/3 of the curved track (15 inch radius) that I need to complete that loop on the layout. I was able to place an order for the other 2/3s needed to complete the track. I already have the streight track I need. I am still looking for rolling stock with Union Pacific markings to enhance the freight train.

Tomorrow is the Mt Pleasant Train Show
I am so looking forward to the train show in Mt. Pleasant tomorrow. I will be going with my wife Sandy. The hope is that I will be able to find some rolling stock in HO for the following railroads: Union Pacific, Norfolk Southern, and BNSF. I would really like to pick up a Union Pacific caboose. I am so close to completing the grand kids layout I can taste it. Hopefully they will have a couple of 9 inch straight Terminal rerailers in Nichol silver EZtrack. I am also looking for a BNSF Tshirt and cap.

36th Annual Mid Michigan Model Train Show
This year will be the Last year that Mountain Town Hobbies will be represented as they are going out of business. I am sure I will be able to pick up a lot of good stuff at a very reasonable price at their booth.
