After almost 1 year of going back and forth I picked up my Ann Arbor GP38 from Brasseur Electric Trains in Saginaw Michigan today this time I hope it's finally fixed.
I also picked up my C&O E7 Pere Marquette locomotive after it quit on me.
I dropped off my New York Central PA locomotive that they repaired because it was not done properly.
So far everything is in working order I just hope it stays that way for a while.
This is an accounting of my attempts at model railroads N scale and HO or OO. I find it to be a lot of fun. I concentrate my efforts on The New York Central, Ann Arbor, Pere Marquette, Chesapeake and Ohio as it relates to the Pere Marquette, Michigan Central Railroads and my own Salt Creek Railroad. I am also interested in the Tuscola and Saginaw Bay Railway, the Great Lakes Central Railroad, CSX, Norfolk Southern, Union Pacific, and BNSF. You are welcome to give me advice.

Repairs Are Coming Along
I will soon have my Ann Arbor GP38, road number 7802, back from repair at Brasseur's Electric Trains in Saginaw Michigan I had the motor replaced. There are 2 others that I need to pay for and pick up. One is a New York Central F3A unit, and the other is a C&O Pere Marquette E7A unit road number 96. There is another New York Central ALCO PA unit, road number 4202, that I had just picked up that still has the same problem with it as when I brought it in for repair the first time. That will most likely need the motor replaced in it as well.
Once I have the Ann Arbor GP38 back on the tracks my Ann Arbor freight train will be complete. Once the New York Central ALCO PA unit is repaired and back on the tracks my New York Central passenger train will be complete. I am saving money to purchase the two Pere Marquette EMD E7A locomotives, road numbers 103 and 105, I have on hold at Mountain Town Hobbies in Mount Pleasant Michigan. I am hoping that I can get one of them for my birthday next month. That will complete the C&O Pere Marquette passenger train sold by Walthers as the 2013 named train. All in all my indoor HO layout in very near completion. I just have some landscaping to do to finish it off.

Most Of The Repairs Are Done
Last night there was a call on my answering machine, from Brasseur Electric Trains in Saginaw Michigan, that 3 out of the 4 locomotives I had in there for repair have been completed. I am thrilled and can't wait to find out which three they are and to put them back on the layout. The locomotives in for repair include:
- A New York Central ALCO PA unit for my passenger train.
- A New York Central EMD FA unit for a freight train.
- A C&O Pere Marquette EMD E8A unit for my Pere Marquette passenger train.
- And finally an Ann Arbor GP38 unit for my Ann Arbor freight train.
I am finally bringing my HO layout to a state of completion insomuch as the trains themselves are concerned. I still have a lot of landscaping to complete in order to really complete the project.

Hanukkah Is Almost Here - My Wish List
I have been working on my Pere Marquette passenger train for well over a year and the only outstanding items are 2 Pere Marquette EMD E7A locomotives I have set aside for me at Mountain Town Hobbies in Mt Pleasant Michigan. Road numbers #103 and #105.
I will be running an AA configuration with the locomotives back to back.
In the past Hanukkah Harry has been very kind to me so I hope this year is no exception.

Another Delay
On a whim I checked the Walthers site to see if there were any changes in the many times revised delivery date for the EMD E7A locomotives for the Pere Marquette passenger train. I was expecting to have the two I ordered at the end of last month. Once again the expected date had been revised. The date is now shown to be 28-July-2013.
There is nothing I can do about this delay except sit by and wait. Walthers has had one delay after another on this name train. I must admit I am not disappointed with the passenger cars I have received so far. One more month is a small price to pay in order to own such a nicely crafted passenger train.

Mid May 2013 and Still No Pere Marquette EMD E7A Locomotives
The Pere Marquette named train offered by Walthers has been met with one delay after another. I finally received all the passenger cars, but now the locomotives are not expected until 28-Jun-2013. They were supposed to be here the end of March then later projected for the end of April. It seems to have been one thing after another. I can't wait. That will complete the set when locomotives number #103 and #105 come in.

Pere Marquette Passenger Train Almost Complete
As of today I have all of the cars for the completed passenger train with the exception of a 52 seat Coach Car and a 10-6 Sleeper Car and 2 EMD E7A Locomotives. I had to loose a lot of weight in order to put this train together. I still need to loose 10 lbs to complete the task.
The Train will consist of 2 EMD E7A Locomotives followed by an RPO Baggage Car, then 2 Standard Baggage Cars, 3 52 Seat Coach Cars, then a Diner Coach Car, and a Lunch Counter/Lounge Car, then finally 3 10-6 Sleeper cars.

The Additional car coming in December and The Locomotives in March
December I am scheduled to receive the 10-6 Sleeper Car
I have 3 on order. considering the delays so far I am not sure when they will arrive. The story so far is there is a delay in manufacturing in China.
In March of 2013 the Locomotives are due to arrive.
God only knows when they will get here.
Stay tuned for the latest updates on the Pere Marquette passenger train by Walthers.
